Pete's Blog - Part 2

Well folks, we are into the third week of the Ceremonial waiting period. There’s been plenty of fun surf in Pichilemu over the last few weeks, but nothing large enough to get too excited about. Looking out into the next week or so, there's more fun surf on tap, with two pulses of surf in the 4-6 ft range. Looks like some strong southerly winds associated with those swells, so if you're looking to get in the water down there, you may want to find those well protected left points.
Looking farther out, things get a little more interesting. On the long range maps starting the week of the 13th, there looks to be a solid swell forming. So far the models look promising, and this is by far the most interesting swell we've seen so far, so we'll definitely keep our eyes on this one.
Stay tuned to www.Quiksilver.com/Chile for more updates, and let's hope hope this is the swell we're all waiting for.
